The Corporation has helped more than 200,000 people with state rental accommodation.
In 2006/07 the Corporation also helped:
- 2,194 households to improve the warmth and dryness of their homes with energy efficiency improvements
- 1,841 people with complex needs by providing case management support
- 1,070 people to buy their own home through a Welcome Home Loan
- 1,067 households to improve their living standards through the Healthy Housing Programme
- 926 people in need with extra state homes
- 688 refugees into homes
- 613 households to get a modernised and improved house
- 384 additional units to be provided (447 beds) through the Housing Innovation Fund
- 357 essential repair loans for people to repair privately-owned substandard rural homes
- 90 households in rural areas with infrastructure improvements
- 30 people obtain a Low Deposit Rural Loan to buy a home
- 10 community groups to lease homes for residents with special help or welfare needs
