Creekfest '09, a major health and cultural festival, is taking place this Saturday 21 March at Cannons Creek Park in Porirua.
Attracting more than 20,000 festival goers each year, Creekfest offers a wide range of events and activities promoting healthy lifestyles and celebrating cultural diversity. There will be sports events, live music, graffiti art, food stalls and more. The event is supported by many community groups and government organisations including Housing New Zealand, which will have a stand at the event providing housing information and advice.
Housing New Zealand will also take part in the Auckland International Cultural Festival on 28-29 March at Wesley War Memorial Park in Mt Roskill, Auckland. This popular event is a celebration of Auckland's richness and diversity of cultures.
As well as an Ethnic Soccer Cup tournament, there will be music, dance, food, arts, crafts, displays and more from over 40 nations.
