Gateway

Gateway housing assistance makes Crown land available to first-home buyers with payment for the land deferred and capped for 10 years.

Gateway housing opportunities will be available through partnerships with community housing organisations and Housing New Zealand.

Discussions will take place during July and August with community housing organisations to determine their interest in buying Gateway land and offering it to first-home buyers. The outcome of these discussions will be announced later this year.
