Communication options for the future


SMS/texting, online applications, and Internet kiosks in neighbourhood units are all potential options as Housing New Zealand looks to the future to help improve its customer service.

These are examples of the type of communication channels Housing New Zealand may offer in the future.

Research has already started to find out customers preferences on the types of communication channels we could introduce. Trends within New Zealand and internationally are also being reviewed.

The aim is to develop a strategy that has a variety of ways customers can quickly, easily and conveniently find information about us and access our services. It will also help improve the way we deliver services and products to you.

A strategy is expected to be in place by the middle of 2007.
